Knickknacks, bits of wire, shiny pebbles (nothing larger than his thumb), fruit, cool night winds, and books.

Least Favorite Things:
Being touched, movies (in general), all music other than classical, loud noises, worn-out books, and unasked criticism.

Hobbies:
Reading (the thicker the book, the better), writing, studying unusual words (like "morosophy"), midnight walks through the park, and inventing odd inventions (like the infamous Scarfool, a scarf that feeds the user).

Occupation:
Works as the Screech Caretaker in the Mirin Adoption Center and in Webpage Design.

A Bit of History:
Darren came to the Adoption Center shortly after Michael's arrival. Michael recommended him, stating that he is an excellent worker, and from what I've seen he is. His "don't touch me" attitude needs a bit of work though. He takes care of his duties well and then follows Michael about, reading a heavy tome. Last I saw him, he had an enormous volume of Edgar Allan Poe's poems in his hands.
